This is an World War Two, Historical Reenactment Society event. ALL participating reenacters will abide by the WWII HRS by-laws, Safety and Authenticity Standards. You should review these items at the HRS website at: Worldwartwohrs.org
In addition to the HRS Safety/Authenticity by-laws, are the "House Rules" which are written on page three, please go over these before coming to the event.
If you do not agree with any of it, please stay home, arguing with event staff will only get you escorted off the premises.
All recognized reenactment groups/societies welcomed, but again you must follow HRS S&A standards PERIOD.
Hours of Operation
-Thursday Sept. 24: 12:00pm Gates open for setup
-Friday Sept. 25: 9:45-2:15pm School tours No personal vehicles allowed in Living History Campsite
-Saturday Sept. 26: 11:00am-5:00pm Museum is open to the public
-Sunday Sept. 27: 11:00am-4:00pm Museum is open to the public
-Sunday Sept. 27: 7:00pm Park closes to everyone
Registration
Registration will be located at the hospital, we will have signs pointing you in the right direction.
-Thursday 24, 2pm-9pm Please do not arrive before 12:00pm Thursday!
-Friday 25, 8am-9:30am then will reopen 2:15pm until 10pm
-Reminder, there is no overnight parking in the museum village or the authentic camp area period! Vehicles unloading/loading equipment have a 10min limit, then remove the vehilce from the area to the reenacter parking lot.
Straw will be located in grey barn, marked 22 on village map. Firewood will be placed at entrances into camp area from reenacter parking

Attention All Unit CO's
Please e-mail me to confirm your campsite before 1Sept09 or you will loose that site!
We have added a second entrance into the woods and have expanded the reenacter parking to include the whole field.
Make sure your parking pass which you will get at registration, is viewable on your dash of your car for the Park District Police can see it.
ATTENTION!!
Everyone doing a combat impression will have the correct haircut for that impression. At S&A everyone will be asked to take their head cover off, if you do not have the correct hairstyle you will need to correct it or not do that impression (including women). To get the haircut standards please visit the Safety & Authenticity section at the HRS web site at: Worldwartwohrs.org
All women must report to S&A, this includes military, homefront and other civilian impressions.
Smaller units will be assigned to the woods scnarios. You will be notified at the event. If you would like to volunteer for the woods scenarios, please contact Ron Kaputska, Ron is coordinating this. Any unit wanting to do there own woods skit, must be approved by Ron before the event.
